Purpose of the role:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Commercial Projects to lead the planning, development and execution of high-impact commercial initiatives. This role is responsible for identifying and delivering complex, cross-functional projects that drive revenue, growth and long-term value for the business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial strategy, project management, stakeholder engagement and business transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial initiatives: Alongside the operators, lead the end-to-end delivery of commercial projects, from concept to completion
- Strategic planning: Work closely with marketing, operations, sales, finance to identify commercial opportunities and translate strategy into actionable project plans
- Cross-functional leadership: Co-ordinate across departments including marketing, sales, marketing, finance and operations and in turn creating a fully integrated plan
- Performance & ROI analysis: monitor the financial and strategic impact of commercial projects, providing insights and recommendations to optimise future initiatives
- Team Leadership: lead a commercial project manager and in turn support in fostering a high-performance culture
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in leading commercial or strategic projects within a fast-paced, matrixed organisation
- Strong-project management skills with a track record of delivering complex, high-value initiatives on time and within budget
- Exceptional commercial acumen and analytical skills; ability to develop and evaluate business cases
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Comfortable working with ambiguity
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Monday)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and growth
